We’re holding the next Stir Gathering event at Lighthouse Church in Telford on 22nd June. The event will be run in conjunction with the Encounter 24 mission on the same weekend.

I’m sure you know this already, but Stir Gathering aims to be an encouraging, safe space for youth groups to come and share community in Christ. You’ve probably heard me say this before. Still, although Stir Gathering is a youth event, its real purpose is to be an event for youth leaders to trust and to know they can input and help with.

On June 22nd, Jay Smith will share with help from Craig and Megan, who are coming with him to share testimonies of how Jesus has changed their lives.

Jay Smith is based in Dudley, with his wife Lorraine. He leads Rise for Christ International, since 2022 they have trained over 1000 people in evangelism. He oversees 4 teams across Birmingham, London, Milton Keynes, and Essex, conducting multiple outreaches weekly. Since 2022, they’ve shared the Gospel one-to-one with 9956 people, resulting in 2047 decisions for Jesus.

I’m certain this is going to be a great time together, and I really hope you consider coming with your groups.
